A Nordic Tale

We’ve been seriously getting into the Christmas spirit this month! Seasonal themed bake-offs, festive songs on the radio and our fast-approaching Christmas party have got us feeling all warm and tingly about the holiday period.

We’ve been keeping a very close eye on all of the Christmas trends that have been flying around the magazines this month. From champagne golds to royal blue and magenta décor schemes, there has definitely been a noticeable shift to embracing a much more luxurious Christmas this year. Whilst we love the colourful and glitzy looks, the trend that really gets our creative juices flowing is the rustic ‘Rough Luxe’ look. Feeling inspired, we wanted to see what we could find in our treasure trove of a prop room and fashion into a wintery shot in our photography studio!

This on-trend look brings together pale woods, tarnished metallic tones and white accessories to introduce a homemade touch to any interior. Our Creative Director Chris chose beautiful artisan candles and glass baubles to style this mantelpiece; and it makes us wish that we were off to spend the holiday season opening presents in front of a crackling fire in the country.
